Hello

I have recently bought a 309 GTI 16v in RHD. With the Mi16 engine. Miami blue 3 door.

Have been unable to find another in RHD, could anyone please tell me how many were made
in both LHD and RHD.

The chassis number when decoded comes up as a genuine RHD 16v GTI.

Interesting, RHD brake booster and "spaghetti" exhaust manifold are not supposed to work well ; that's why people use 405 Mi16 ones or a modified "spaghetti" (the 405 one also fit better if modified).
You can't find any clues about RHD XU9J4 309 on servicebox, there is nothing about the RHD power steering piping for exemple ; parts from a RHD diesel should fit but Peugeot only list LHD parts for the XU9J4.
